Kwik Kopy Putting for Pets Golf Tournament photos are up

We’re taking a much needed vacation day today, but we’d like to say again how great it was to see everyone out at the Kwik Kopy Putting for Pets Golf Tournament. From the sound of it everybody had a really great day. We know we did.

If you need your fix of us on our vacation day, click here to see all the photos from the Kwik Kopy Putting for Pets Golf Tournament. The photos are all courtesy of Bethany MacIsaac (click here to check out her website).

What a great day

Brian Sisco of Kwik Kopy Halifax lines up his drive at the Kwik Kopy Putting for Pets Golf Tournament in support of the Nova Scotia SPCA

Yesterday’s Kwik Kopy Putting for Pets Golf Tournament in support of our friends at the Nova Scotia SPCA was a tremendous success. Golfers had a blast and lots of prizes were given away. We personally had a great time with Mom on the 9th hole where we helped collect donations for the Nova Scotia SPCA.

Bethany MacIsaac – our terrific photographer – snapped some great shots and has already made some available on her website. Check them out by clicking here. Hint to new parents and newlyweds: as you can see from her website, Bethany takes beautiful shots. Keep her mind for your next celebration.

Golfing dogs with logos

The Kwik Kopy Putting for Pets Golf Tournament in support of the Nova Scotia SPCA is finally here! Tomorrow we’ll be at the Links at Penn Hills Golf Course with all our friends watching golfers from across the province pitch, putt, drive, hack, whiff, chuck and have tons of fun.

If you’re interested in joining the fun, you still have time to register at puttingforpets.com. They’re calling for sunshine and really comfortable temperatures between 22-24C.

And, seriously, would you rather be working?

It’s our last BBQ this Friday!!

Barbecue time

It’s our last BBQ of the season tomorrow!

If you haven’t already, please come on down in support of the Nova Scotia SPCA. We love the work they do and a Friday in July calls for barbecued food. Simple as that.

And if you have already been down we probably don’t need to keep asking:) We trust we’ll see you.

Puppy Tweets

An interesting story from CNN Money (yup, we read CNN Money):

In its first-ever toy created for the canine community, Mattel is introducing a product called “Puppy Tweets” that meshes the hugely popular Twitter with consumers’ love of pets.

Meet Smudge

Smudge from the Fairmont Algonquin

Meet Smudge, the Canine Ambassador at The Fairmont Algonquin in New Brunswick. Hmm, Canine Ambassador… we like that.

Smudge is two-and-a-half and was originally trained to be a guide dog with Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind but was unable to overcome anxiety and distraction while working. Smudge has started a new career at The Fairmont Algonquin where she is constantly socializing and being the centre of attention. We wouldn’t know anything about that.

Maybe one day we’ll be able to get out to the Fairmont Algonquin and meet Smudge. And if Smudge is ever in Halifax we hope she ends up here.

Read all about Smudge here.
